Happy Jungle Birthday

I created this wild Birthday Card for Mennys Bastelshop:

• stamp a bird and some flowers from the Avery Elle Toucan Party set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• run kraft cardstock through your Big Shot in the Sizzix Tropical Leaves embossing folder
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• cut out the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments Happy Birthday from vellum and colored cardstock
• add texture to the flower centers with the Karin Decogel Milky Way Orange pen

Spring Greetings

Hi there,

I created this Spring Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the Karten-Kunst Pfingstrose with Versamark onto a panel of watercolor paper
• add Nuvo Shimmer Powder Violet Brocade and lightly mist the image with water
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink (Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass)
• add strips of colored cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
