The Earth laughs in Flowers

Hi there,

today, we are having our Release Blog Hop over at Skipping Stones Design and I am showcasing the Skipping Stones Design I'd pick you stamp set. When I first saw the beautiful flower images of this set, I knew that I had to watercolor them:

  • stamp the bouquet from the new Skipping Stones Design I'd pick you stamp set with Versamark onto the smooth side of a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine
  • color the image with Winsor & Newton watercolors and Distress Markers and add some blue and black splatters
  • cut out a stitched panel from the watercolor piece
  • stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add a strip of black cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Rainbow Stripes 6x6 paper pad to the left side of the card before adhering it to a white cardbase
